Casinos and Coffee

If you’re a regular video poker, slots, or poker player at your local casino the odds are good that you’re more than familiar with the coffee options, as little (or a lot) of caffeine is often just what the doctor ordered to keep players sharp and focused. Most casinos offer up various options when it comes to coffee, from a quick jolt from the bar or cocktail waitress to higher end options if you’re in a nicer casino at Las Vegas or Macau.

For the coffee fan who’s not so particular about their brew, you’ll typically be able to get a free coffee from a cocktail waitress or bartender in most casinos as long as you’re playing one of the games. The quality obviously will vary greatly depending on where you’re at and how much time and effort they put into their free drinks offered to players, but in higher-end casinos the coffee can actually be quite good. If it’s a Vegas casino that offers free alcoholic drinks you can also get a little kick with your coffee, as most will add Baileys Irish Cream if you request it.

If you’re more of a coffee snob in many casino you’ll be able to find Starbucks and other chain coffee shops; many Vegas casinos also have Italian-style coffee shops that offer espresso and cappuccinos and other options for you caffeine fix. If you’re staying in the hotel attached to the casino you might also have a coffee machine in your room, with some nicer casinos offering very nice options.

Online casino players are well acquainted with coffee as well, and actually have it a bit better than their counterparts who play at live casinos. You might not get free coffee if you’re playing online at home but you also never have to wait for slow cocktail service to bring you your coffee, plus you’re guaranteed to always be able to enjoy your favorite grind or brew.
